GRAWE GROUP

The history of the development of the Austrian financial group GRAWE in Ukraine dates back to 1998, when the insurance company GRAVE UKRAINE began its activity in the field of life insurance. Since 2008, the concern, having acquired the Ukrainian insurance company INPRO, also deals with risky types of insurance.

Insurance company INPRO (now “GRAVE UKRAINE”) was created by a group of shareholders (two legal entities and five individuals) in Kiev in 1992 as a joint-stock company “Reinsurance company INPRO” with a registered capital of 5 million rubles.

In 1994 the company became an associate member of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine and receives licenses for two mandatory and nine voluntary insurance types.

In 1995, the company re-registered at the closed joint stock company “Reinsurance Company INPRO” and increases its authorized capital to 25 billion rubles.

In 1999, according to the decision of shareholders, the location of the company’s headquarters changed. The office is transferred to the city of Lviv. Subsequently, the company’s name changes to the Closed Joint-Stock Company “Insurance Company INPRO”.

Since 2000 the company has started to develop dynamically: the number of permanent and new clients is increasing, the authorized capital is increasing, its own regional network expands. Yes, today the regional network of the company has 12 offices, including branch offices in Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Kiev.
